'Inspired by the lives of my granny and her three sisters, who joined the convent, my collection compares and contrasts the role required of the clergy and that of lay church members and how this is translated into clothing. Through analyzing the symbolic weight that comes with the donning of the habit and its restrictive nature I was able to translate this into my silhouette.'
